Scheduled to take place between February 12-16, 2020, this LFW 2.0 edition will pay tribute to Lakme Fashion Week's 20 year anniversary. It will have a celebration of curated experiences and special events at JioWorld Garden, BKC, Mumbai.

From 33 designers in 2000 to now featuring over 200 labels, Lakme Fashion Week's bi-annual fashion celebration has been set trends and raised benchmarks in the beauty and fashion space.

With the new edition, the platform says it will take the tradition of presenting large-scale fashion showcases at interesting outdoor venues a notch higher, championing sustainability through path-breaking initiatives while further spreading messages of inclusivity and diversity.

Ashwath Swaminathan, Head of Innovations at Lakme said, "Lakme Fashion Week was started in 2000 with the vision of putting Indian fashion on the global map of fashion. So this edition of Summer/Resort'20 is going to be special as we celebrate 20 years of Lakme Fashion Week and realising this vision. We look forward to another season of innovations and trends that continue to raise the bar of Indian fashion and beauty."

"With the Summer/Resort 2020 edition, we also mark the beginning of LFW 2.0 - a journey where we revisit past while building the future for the next 20 years," Jaspreet Chandok, Head - Lifestyle Businesses, IMG Reliance Ltd said.
