Less than half PCR calls this Holi: Delhi Police

The Police Control Room (PCR) received 8,667 calls on Holi on March 10, down by more than half compared with last year's figure, Delhi Police said on Wednesday.

New Delhi, March 11 The Police Control Room (PCR) received 8,667 calls on Holi on March 10, down by more than half compared with last year's figure, Delhi Police said on Wednesday.

"Holi was celebrated much peacefully compared with last year. The PCR calls were drastically reduced to 8,667 as the number was 18,798 last year," police tweeted.

Pointing to strong and visible presence of Delhi Police on Tuesday, it also appreciated the cooperation extended by the residents of the national capital to ensure a peaceful Holi.
