The government increased the price of domestic gas cylinders by Rs 50. Now, the LPG Distributors' Association has threatened the government that they will go on a strike if their demands are not met. They have warned that if their demands, including commission increases, are not met within three months, they will go on strike.

The association's president, B.S. Sharma, stated in a press release that this decision was made at the association's national convention, which was held in Bhopal on Saturday, April 19. He mentioned that members from various states approved the proposal for the strike. The association has also written to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas regarding the demands of LPG distributors. They stated that the current commission paid to LPG distributors is very low and does not align with their expenses.
