A fire broke out at the Municipal Council office in Susner in Agar Malwa district, Madhya Pradesh, late on Friday night, triggering panic in the area. The incident occurred around 1:30 am when a fire suddenly erupted in a hall inside the Municipal Council building. After noticing flames and thick smoke, nearby residents immediately alerted the authorities.

Following the information, the fire brigade and police teams reached the spot and began efforts to control the blaze. After considerable effort, firefighters managed to bring the fire under control. However, several important Municipal Council files were destroyed before the flames were contained. Officials said the extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

After receiving information about the incident, the Municipal Council’s Chief Municipal Officer and staff also reached the site. Officials inspected the building and began an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.

The Susner Municipal Council office is located in the city’s main market area, and news of the incident caused panic among residents late into the night. The exact cause of the fire remains unclear. Authorities have launched an investigation and are looking into the matter.
