A devastating sequence of events has unfolded in Siholia village, Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh, where an elderly man died by suicide by leaping into his grandson's funeral pyre. This tragic act followed a murder-suicide committed by the grandson, leaving the community in profound shock.

The initial incident involved Abhayraj Yadav, 34, who reportedly murdered his wife, Savita Yadav, 30, on Friday. He then took his own life. The couple's funeral rites were conducted on the same evening.

The loss of his grandson deeply affected Ramavatar Yadav, the elderly grandfather. Overwhelmed by grief and trauma, he tragically jumped into Abhayraj's burning funeral pyre on Saturday morning. His charred remains were recovered by authorities.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gayatri Tiwari confirmed the incidents and stated that a comprehensive investigation is underway. The motive behind Abhayraj Yadav's murder of his wife remains unknown. Police are examining the circumstances surrounding both the murder-suicide and the subsequent death of Ramavatar Yadav.

The village of Siholia is in mourning, grappling with the loss of three lives from a single family within a span of just two days. The authorities are working to uncover the full details of this heartbreaking series of events.
