Maha Kumbh Shivratri Snan 2025: Police Release Special Guidelines; No-Vehicle Zone Imposed in Fair Area from 4 PM Today

The Maha Kumbh 2025 is nearing its conclusion and to ensure a good experience to devotees the fair, the police have issued certain guidelines. To manage the crowd on Maha Shivratri Snan, the final bath on February 26, the fair area will become a no-vehicle zone from 4 PM on February 25.

Prayagraj Commissionarate will take up the same initiative from 6 PM throughout the city to manage the crowd.

Proper bathing arrangements are made in the Jhunsi and Parade points of Maha Kumbh. Devotees from South Jhunsi can take a holy dip at Sangam Dwar Airavat Ghat. Devotees from North Jhunsi can take a sacred bath at Sangam Harishchandra Ghat and Sangam Old GT Ghat.

Devotees coming from the Parade area can take a dip at the following areas: Sangam Dwar Bhardwaj Ghat, Sangam Dwar Nagvasuki Ghat, Sangam Dwar Mori Ghat, Sangam Dwar Kali Ghat Sangam, Dwar Ram Ghat, and Sangam Dwar Hanuman Ghat.

No restrictions will be imposed on vehicles that carry essentials like milk, vegetables, petrol, diesel, medicines, etc.

Devotees have been asked to take a brief plunge at the closest ghat, and travel systematically as Mahashivratri signifies the end of Maha Kumbh on February 26. Every pontoon bridge will be controlled by crowd pressure to guarantee easy crowd flow. All ghats have the same holy significance as Sangam, according to authorities, who have urged followers to cooperate by using the closest bathing location.
