After a month since taking charge as chief minister, Uddhav Thackeray will finally expand his cabinet on Monday. Uddhav, who was sworn in on November 28, will induct 36 caninet members, 13 each from Shiv Sena and NCP and 10 from Congress. The Government formation has been delayed by a dispute over sharing of portfolios among the three parties which constitute the Maha Vikas Aghadi. In the parking lot of the Legislature, the main stage and the grand pavilion immediately after it have been erected. About 5 to 6 seats have been arranged here. More than 4 screens have been set up in this mandap and the legislature area has received the appearance of a police camp. Get all the live updates from the Cabinet Expansion here...

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) gave Pawar a clean chit in the irrigation scam in Vidarbha. The affidavit absolving Pawar of any responsibility in the multi-crore scam was filed by the ACB in the Nagpur High Court a day after the Pawar-Fadnavis government collapsed on November 26. However, the court has not yet ratified this clean chit. Pawar also continues to be named as an accused in a complaint filed by the Economic Offences Wing and Enforcement Directorate in Maharashtra Co-operative Bank scam.
