A man and his daughter were killed in a grenade explosion in the Godhkulla village of Aravalli district.

Sanjay Kharat, the Superintendent of Police (SP), Aravalli said, "A blast occurred on August 28. Later we got to know that it had occurred due to a hand grenade explosion. It exploded in the hands of the victim, injuring his two daughters as well, one of which is now dead."

Kharat said that the victim had found the grenade near a village pond.

"It will be known soon that how the grenade reached there," Kharat said.

The victim also had pictures with grenades and guns, which were gathered during the investigation.

"The victim's pictures suggest that he was extremely passionate about police and army. We are getting to know from his friends that he was extremely passionate about the army," added Kharat.

No one has been arrested yet as per the police.

Teams of the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Special Operation Group (SOG) and the Local Crime Branch are involved in the investigation along with the police.

Investigations are ongoing about the photographs of the victim and how did the grenade reach the village.
