A chain-snatching incident was reported in the Nauchandi police station area in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district, where a doctor was targeted while walking with his pet dog. The robber, riding a sports bike and wearing a helmet, swiftly snatched the gold chain from the doctor's neck, causing him to lose balance and fall, sustaining injuries.

The victim, Dr RK Tomar, a resident of Shastri Nagar D Block, has filed a complaint with the Nauchandi police. CCTV footage of the incident, now viral on social media, shows the thief approaching from behind and snatching the chain in seconds before speeding away. The footage was captured on March 16 (Sunday) at around 6.30 pm. 

Following the viral video, police have launched an investigation, reviewing nearby CCTV footage to identify the suspect. Residents are demanding swift action, while authorities assure that the accused will be arrested soon.
