A shocking incident unfolded at a primary school in Jitola village, Rohata development block, Meerut, when a heavily intoxicated man stormed the premises, causing chaos and terrorizing staff and students.The accused, Shivkumar, entered the school in a drunken state and began creating a disturbance in front of acting headmistress Ruchi Mittal and other staff members. When staff attempted to intervene, he stripped off his clothes and stood semi-naked, escalating the situation.
Further compounding the disruption, Shivkumar forced children out of their classrooms and sent them home. A liquor bottle was visible in his pants. As staff recorded his actions on their mobile phones, he began threatening the teachers and the village head, claiming connections to notorious Rajasthan criminal Pappal Gurjar. Upon learning of the incident, villagers rushed to the school, apprehended Shivkumar, and subjected him to a beating before handing him over to the police. A female teacher filed a formal complaint.
"A case has been registered based on a complaint that a local resident entered the primary school in the Jitola area in a drunken state, misbehaved with teachers and others present, and obstructed government work," stated the Superintendent of Police (Rural). "The accused has been arrested and sent to judicial custody. "Witnesses reported that Shivkumar also entered a girls' classroom after stripping and attempted to attack teachers, further shocking those present. He also tried to forcibly shut down the school. The police, acting on the assistant teachers' complaint, arrested Shivkumar.
