In a shocking incident in Khajuri village of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a 12-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed an 18-year-old youth while they were watching an IPL 2025 cricket match on television. The minor, a Class 7 student, playfully picked up his grandfather's licensed gun and pointed it at Mohammad Kaif, a D.Pharma student who was watching the match at a neighbor's house. The neighbor's family was away attending a wedding in Meerut, leaving only the teenager and the young boy at home.

According to reports, the boy aimed the gun at Mohammad Kaif and inadvertently pulled the trigger. The bullet struck Mohammad Kaif in the temple, resulting in his immediate death. Neighbors who heard the gunshot rushed to the scene and found the young boy unconscious outside the house. Inside, they discovered Mohammad Kaif's body with a gunshot wound. Police have arrested the minor and are currently investigating the tragic incident.
