In Madhya Pradesh, serious allegations have been leveled against a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party's Yuva Morcha.
A woman has rushed to police station along with her husband and registered an FIR against the leader. The BJP leader has been absconding since the case was registered. Police are currently searching for BJP leader Rajesh Srivastava. At the same time, photos of this leader with many big leaders are going viral on social media.
According to sources, Rajesh Srivastava of the Bharatiya Janata Party's Yuva Morcha in Veer Savarkar ward has been accused of rape by the wife of a soldier and had even demanded Rs 10 lakh.
According to Jabalpur police, the woman got acquainted with Shrivastav who would often come to her house while her husband who is a government employee would remain away for work. The woman in her complaint stated that it was during one such visit, the accused spiked the juice she had offered and drinking which she lost consciousness and was raped by Shrivastav.
The accused raped the victim and took photos and videos of her, on the basis of which he was blackmailing the woman, threatening to defame her by sending obscene messages to the victim. The victim reported the incident to her husband when he came home on holiday, after which the victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the police station on March 18. Police filed a case against the accused after the victim lodged a complaint.
The accused Rajesh Srivastava is absconding and police are searching for him. However, this case has given the opposition an opportunity to criticize the BJP. No BJP leader is ready to speak on this.Many are running away from the question of the media.
