A shocking incident has emerged in Muzaffarnagar, where a 60-year-old man has been given a humiliating sentence by a panchayat for allegedly attempting to rape a minor girl. The accused, Tirpal, allegedly grabbed a minor girl with ill intent, dragged her into a field, and tore her clothes. 

He attempted to rape her, but the girl managed to escape his clutches. Following the incident, a police case was registered, and a panchayat was convened to resolve the matter. The panchayat sentenced the accused to be hit with shoes twice. This incident has sparked outrage in the local community, with people condemning the panchayat's decision.  Authorities have now registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
