A heated argument erupted between Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi during the proceedings of the Bihar Legislative Council on Tuesday, March 25. The two leaders were seen engaging in a verbal clash once again. Kumar sarcastically remarked, “The party belongs to her husband, this poor thing has come like this,” implying that Rabri Devi held her position only due to her husband. On the other hand, Devi was also seen responding sharply.

Nitish Kumar took a dig at the Grand Alliance, accusing them of calling the BJP and NDA "reservation thieves." While speaking about RJD, Rabri Devi stood up, prompting another sharp remark from Nitish Kumar. He said, “Hey, sit in your chair... The party belongs to your husband, you are nothing... Sit down,” and laughed while making the comment.

Recently, Nitish Kumar had taken a similar dig at Rabri Devi in the Bihar Legislative Council, stating that she only became Chief Minister after her husband was removed from office. During a debate over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, NDA and Grand Alliance members accused each other. Defending his government, Nitish Kumar said, “The government investigates every crime and brings the culprits to justice.” He then sarcastically remarked in Magahi, ‘Chhoda na tohra kuchh pata hai’ (Leave it, you don’t know anything).
