No change in Mandir model, it will be expanded: Nritya Gopal

Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the newly appointed Chairman of Ram Mandir Trust, on Wednesday said the temple will be build on the model of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, but there will be some changes in its format as there is scope for change in view of its grandeur.

New Delhi, Feb 19 Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the newly appointed Chairman of Ram Mandir Trust, on Wednesday said the temple will be build on the model of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, but there will be some changes in its format as there is scope for change in view of its grandeur.

Das also said the next meeting of the trust is to be held after 15 days in Ayodhya to discuss the framework for the construction.

However, he said that a committee has been constituted under Nripendra Mishra, former Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to oversee the construction work.

Commenting on the commencement of the construction of the temple, Das said it will be decided in the next meeting, but, it will not start on Ram Navami, as speculated.

Earlier on Wednesday, the members of the Ram Mandir Trust were given their roles and responsibilities. Two different committees have been formed, and responsibilities have been given to various trustees who will meet time to time to discuss the work done in the construction.

Talking to before the meeting, Das had made it clear that all the members in the meeting will share their views after which the date of the construction of the temple and people to be included in the trust will be decided.
