Noida, Uttar Pradesh (March 5, 2025): A massive fire erupted at the Sector 32 dumping ground in Noida, triggering a firefighting response that has been ongoing for over six hours. Firefighters are working relentlessly to control the blaze, but authorities warn that it may take several days to fully extinguish the fire.

Local residents are reporting breathing difficulties due to the thick smoke. Pradeep Choubey, Chief Fire Officer, stated, "The dumping ground in Sector 32 contains horticultural waste, dry leaves, and dry wood. On both sides, there is around 30-40 feet of stacked dry wood. By the time we arrived, the fire had already spread significantly. The winds are still strong, and we are isolating certain areas. Firefighting efforts are underway, but it will take time."

Firefighters continue to battle the blaze, as concerns about air quality and safety grow in the area.
