Noida, Uttar Pradesh (March 31, 2025): A major fire broke out at a plastic factory in Noida’s Surajpur area on Monday. Media reports suggest that more than 15 workers are feared trapped inside. Firefighters rushed to the scene after receiving the alert. No casualties have been reported so far. A video shared by news agency ANI shows thick black smoke spreading rapidly. Officials are working to contain the blaze.
Two weeks ago, another fire broke out at a garment factory in Noida’s Sector 63. No injuries or casualties were reported in that incident.
Fire department officials said the Sector 63 fire started around 7 a.m. in Block D. Investigations revealed that the flames began in the front section of the factory, where clothes were stored in boxes. The fire quickly spread and engulfed the storage area.
