According to Dr. Soma Sen Roy, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) scientist, this system will lead to increased rainfall over the Western Himalayan region. Rainfall with Thunderstorm activity is also expected in plain regions of Punjab, Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh, and north Rajasthan on February 27, 2025.
