Pakistan violates ceasefire in J-K's Poonch

Pakistan on Sunday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

Pakistan on Sunday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

The Army said that the ceasefire took place at Mendhar sector at about 1615 hours.

The Pakistan Army fired with small arms and shelled mortars. Meanwhile, the Indian Army retaliated befittingly.

On the first day of New Year 2021, Pakistan had violated ceasefire along the LoC in Rajouri district's Nowshera sector.
