Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tribute to late Indira Gandhi on her 102nd birth anniversary. Meanwhile, interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi, former Primer Minister Manmohan Singh, former President Pranab Mukherjee and several other Congress leaders paid homage to the first woman PM of India. Indira Gandhi served as the PM for three consecutive terms (1966 -77) and a fourth term from 1980 until she was assasinated in 1984. Indira was the second longest serving Prime Minister after Nehru.  She became a member of Rajya Sabha in August 1964 and served till February 1967. She was the member of Lok Sabha during fourth, fifth and sixth sessions.
