The victim, Netrapal Singh, was allegedly thrashed and killed by a dozen unidentified local youths, in a road rage incident that took place near the Kherki Daula toll plaza on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway on October 11.

"During interrogation, Mohit revealed that on October 11, the victim's car collided with Rohit's scooty after which he called his other friends and thrashed the victim brutally with batons, baseball bats etc. and ran away," said ACP (crime) Preet Pal Sangwan.

The victim was admitted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on October 12.

"We will seek the custody of the accused to get information about the absconding culprits. During the custody we will also recover the weapons used in the crime," the ACP said.

The accused also revealed that four cases of fighting at public places were registered against him at different police stations of Gurugram. He is currently out on bail.

Meanwhile, in connection with the incident, a case of murder had been registered at the Kherki Daula police station on October 12 after a complaint was filed by Chetan, a relative of the deceased.
