This information was given to by Nodal Officer (Media) Nalin Chauhan. He further said, "the state election machinery is pulling out all the stops for a better voter ratio turnout in this assembly elections. For this, every possible effort is going on under the leadership of Ranbir Singh, Chief Election Officer. Part of these efforts was a voting awareness rally, organised in all the assembly constituencies of Delhi on Saturday".

On Saturday, teams from the state election headquarters also visited Deoli and Dakshinpuri areas. Voter awareness rallies were also held here. This is the same region where the percentage of voting was low during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. 2,30,702 voters are registered in Deoli assembly and in 2019 Lok Sabha elections, only 91,658 of registered voters exercised their franchise.

In both these areas, voters were encouraged to participate more in voting through the 'Apne Try' street play. During these awareness rallies here, voters were also informed about EVMs and VVPATs.

Speaking to , Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Ranbir Singh said, "About 1,500 students from 250 primary schools participated in these Prabhat rallies. We believe that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, where there was less polling in Delhi, the results of the awareness campaign conducted through these rallies will definitely come out positive. And the voting in these areas will be more than the last Lok Sabha election."
