Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Msh Sisodia on Wednesday said that the Central government should either postpone or find an alternative way to conduct NEET and JEE exams.

"Centre has closed its eye to the ground situation in the country and forcing 28 lakhs students to appear for the exams. I think the Central Government should postpone the NEET and JEE exams or they should find an alternative way of conducting the exams," he told reporters here.

"Examination system across the world is evolving, there are 1,000 alternate ways to conduct exams," he said.

Earlier, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) will be held from September 1 to 6 and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG) on September 13.
