Bhuj, Feb 27 President Droupadi Murmu will visit Kutch on February 28. As part of her itinerary, she will visit the Smritivan Museum and Memorial at 3 PM on February 28, followed by a visit to Dhordo. During her stay in Dhordo, the President will engage with local artisans at the Rann Utsav Tent City.

To ensure security, the venue has been declared a "No Drone Fly Zone."

During her visit, President Murmu will also explore local craft stalls before witnessing the sunset at the White Rann. Later, she will attend a cultural program organised by the Gujarat Tourism Corporation as the chief guest, where she will observe various artistic performances.

On March 1, at 10:30 AM, the President will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dholavira. Later in the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, she will depart from Bhuj for Delhi.

To ensure smooth proceedings, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Kutch District Minister-in-Charge Praful Pansheriya will be present during the visit.

In view of the President’s presence, the entire area of Dhordo in Bhuj taluka and Dholavira in Bhachau taluka has been declared a “no fly zone” from February 28 to March 1.

This restriction prohibits the use of drones (UAVs) and any electronic flying devices in the designated regions.

President Droupadi Murmu commenced her four-day visit to Gujarat on February 26.

On February 27, she visited the Ekta Skill Development Centre at Kevadia and graced the 44th convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad.
