At 2:00 PM on February 23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and other BJP officials welcomed him here.

At Bageshwar Dham, the prime minister prayed at Balaji temple.

In the presence of Pandit Dhirendra Krishan Shastri, the chief of Bageshwar Dham, he lay the cornerstone of the cancer hospital Balaji Medical and Science Research Institute.

The hospital's mission is to offer cancer patients from disadvantaged and economically disadvantaged groups free medical care and treatment. Modern chemotherapy and other cancer treatment equipment will be available at the facility, along with specialised medical professionals.

At an approximate cost of Rs. 200 crores, the hospital is expected to be finished in two to three years.

A hospital unit will be named in honour of PM Heeraben Modi's late mother, said Pandit Shastri.

On social networking platform X, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri wrote a greeting for the prime minister. The hospital was praised by him, who described it as the first to be constructed on a temple grounds.

The prime minister was welcomed by a sizable audience at Bageshwar Dham.
