Puducherry reports 81 fresh COVID-19 cases; tally rises to 1,418

The coronavirus tally in Puducherry rose to 1,418 on Sunday after 81 more people tested positive for the infection, Health Minister Malladi Krishna Rao said.

The coronavirus tally in Puducherry rose to 1,418 on Sunday after 81 more people tested positive for the infection, Health Minister Malladi Krishna Rao said.

Among the 81 new cases, 71 are in Puducherry and 10 in Karaikal region.

The death toll reported so far is 18 in the Union Territory.

The fresh COID-19 cases were detected out of 866 samples tested in the last 24 hours ended at 10 AM in Puducherry.
