Punjab: Power supply will be suspended on March 9, due to the necessary repair work. Powercom J. E. Rohit Kumar announced that the power supply to villages on the 11 KV Barwa feeder, including Musapur, Kumbhewal, Lucknow, Saskaur, Roli, Jhinjri, Kheri, Chehiramjara, Barwa, Lalpur, Mirpur, Sekhpur, Chanoli, Bassi, and Shahpur Bela, will be suspended from 10 am to 4 pm on March 9 for urgent power line repairs.
The outage duration may vary, and consumers should make alternative power arrangements as needed. This information was released in a statement by SDO Sanjeev Bhandari of Punjab State Powercom Limited Sub-Operational Division Office Singhpur (Noorpurbedi).
Power Supply Suspension on March 8
On March 8th, SDO Shiv Kumar of the City West Division, Punjab State Power Corporation, announced a power outage from 10 am to 5 pm due to essential repairs on electricity lines and the 66 KV Amaltas feeder. The outage will affect the 11 KV Lark, Jain, BK, Bhattian, Dimple Package, Venus, and Kutbewal feeders.
Separately, SDO Rajnish Pal of Punjab Powercom Ltd., Khamanon, stated that essential repairs on a 66 KV line will cause a power shutdown on March 8th from 9 am to 5 pm. This will impact all feeders from Khamanon, including Category One Khamano, Khamano Khurd, Bhabri Milk Plant, Lakshmi, Category 2, Navodia, Mansoorpur, Connection Motra, Kakrala, Amarala, Maheshpura, Badesha, Manela, Dhanaula, Mohan Majra, Lakhanpur, Sanghol, and Farour.
