Significantly, during a rally at Ramlila Maidan, PM Modi said that there are no Detention Centres in the country. He accused the opposition of spreading lies.

PM Modi at a rally in Ramlila Maidan said that there are no Detention Centres in the country. People are being threatened in the name of detention. Detention centers are not being built anywhere across the country. However, contrary to Prime Minister Modi's claim, according to BBC report, this is the country's first and largest detention center being built on two and a half hectares of land in Matia village of Assam .
