The government's decision to start special trains amid the COVID-19 lockdown came as a huge relief to the stranded migrants and citizens of India. Meanwhile, the decision to start ticket counters also received a thumbs up from individuals across the state. However in order to bring in more transparency speculations are rife that few changes have been implemented by the railways.  According to reports, there is a change in the software associated with the Reservation Counter (PRS) at the stations.

The concerned passenger has to give his complete address, house number, street colony, full details of the tehsil. Moreover, passengers will have to provide the same mobile number in the reservation for which they will travel. Along with this, he will also have to share information related to the destination station to the clerk sitting at the counter. In this, he has to give the house number, street, colony, tehsil, district, city, state, and the reason for going to that city.
