A longtime employee of a private company in Jaipur died by suicide after allegedly facing continuous harassment from his senior officers. The deceased, identified as Mukesh Kumar Jangid, had been working for the same company in Central Spine, Vidyadhar Nagar, for nearly 15 years. Police said Mukesh consumed poison late Saturday night. He was rushed to a private hospital after his condition deteriorated but was later shifted to SMS Hospital. He died on the way.

A two-page suicide note was found under his pillow. In the letter, Mukesh made serious allegations against his seniors, Dilip Singh Chauhan and Rajesh Arora, accusing them of mental harassment. He also mentioned being forced to sign false documents and receiving threats of being framed in police cases.

According to the note, Mukesh wrote to his father, saying, “Father, I fought as long as I could but now I have lost. Dilip Singh and Rajesh Arora mentally tortured me so much that I no longer have the strength to live. I was forced to sign fake documents and now they are threatening to involve me in police cases. I do not want to go to jail.”

Mukesh also apologized to his wife Rekha and brothers Bablu and Lokesh. “Rekha, I am leaving you in the middle of the road. Please forgive me. Lokesh, take care of our parents,” he wrote.

Police said Mukesh had not gone to work since April 8 and was under stress. His body was sent for post-mortem at Jhotwara and later handed over to the family. Based on a complaint from his brother Lokesh Kumar, police have registered a case of abetment to suicide.
