A shocking incident occurred in Rajasthan's Nagpur district, where a 9-year-old girl died while playing in the school ground. According to media reports she died suspected of the cardiac arrest on Monday, February 23, 2026 morning in Gotan town. Police confirmed that deceased identified as Divya Bapedia a class 5 student from Talnapur was playing with other children on the ground, before morning prayers when this incident happened.
Following the incident, school staff quickly rushed her to the local community health center (CHC), where she was declared dead on arrival. This tragic incident caught on CCTV camera and has surfaced on social media. Video shows minutes before the tragic incident when she fell.

In-charge of Gotan CHC, Dr. Sukhram, mentioned that the girl had no prior medical history, and there were no visible injuries on her body. A preliminary investigation also points to cardiac arrest as the most likely cause. The family, however, declined an autopsy, and the body was handed over to them
