Jaipur, March 4 Nine trainee sub-inspectors (SIs), including three women, have been dismissed from service in Jodhpur following their involvement in the SI Recruitment Exam-2021 paper leak scandal.

The Special Operations Group (SOG) had registered a case against them for using dummy candidates to clear the exam.

They were arrested on March 3, 2024, and later released on bail. The SI Recruitment Exam-2021 was compromised due to a leaked question paper, and the investigation revealed that several candidates used proxies to take the exam on their behalf.

The SOG arrested nearly 50 trainee SIs, of whom 25 have been granted bail by the High Court. Similar actions were taken in Bikaner and Kota, where five more trainee SIs, including two women, were dismissed.

Among them, three had used dummy candidates, while two had cleared the exam using unfair means. Dismissal orders for these officers were also issued Tuesday evening. This crackdown highlights the state government’s commitment to maintaining transparency and integrity in recruitment processes. Authorities are expected to continue their probe, and more actions could follow, said officials.

On Tuesday, Jodhpur Range IG Vikas Kumar issued dismissal orders for the following individuals Gopi Ram Jangu Bishnoi (Sihagon Ki Beri, Barmer), Chanchal Bishnoi (Fitkasni, Jodhpur), Ajay Bishnoi (Bhavad, Jodhpur), Dinesh Kumar Bishnoi (Kabuli, Barmer), Naresh Kumar Bishnoi (Malwad, Jalore), Priyanka Bishnoi (Devda, Jalore), Harku Jat (Kerwada, Barmer), Surendra Kumar Bishnoi (Danta Sarnau, Jalore) and Dinesh Kumar Bishnoi (son of Bhagirath) (Devda, Jalore).

Earlier, Bikaner and Kota, IG dismissed 5 including two female trainee sub-inspectors (SI). In SI recruitment 2021, three of these candidates made dummy candidates sit in their place, while two had passed the exam by cheating.

The dismissed SIs were posted in the Bikaner and Kota range. Their dismissal orders were issued in February this month.

Bikaner IG Om Prakash Paswan said, "Shravan Kumar Godara and Manju Bishnoi have been dismissed. Both have been removed from service under Dismissed from the Service under CCA 19 (2) under the service rules."

In the year 2024, the Special Operations Group (SOG) had registered a case. Both were arrested in this case and are currently lodged in the Jaipur jail. Shravan Kumar Godara got posted in Hanumangarh and Manju Bishnoi in Bikaner.

Further, Kota IG dismissed Chetan Singh Meena, Renu Kumari and Malaram Vishnoi. A total of seven trainee sub-inspectors have been dismissed from the Kota IG office so far. Chetan Singh Meena is currently in jail. Chetan had passed the exam via a dummy candidate.

Renu Kumari and Malaram Bishnoi are out on bail. Renu and Malaram are accused of passing the exam fraudulently.
