Three people have died following a nitrogen gas leak at an acid factory in Beawar, Rajasthan, late Monday night. More than 60 people are currently receiving treatment at a local hospital. The incident occurred at the Sunil Trading Company on Balad Road, where a tanker was unloading nitrogen gas. According to the regional media reports, factory owner Sunil Singhal died at 2 a.m. on Tuesday during treatment. Two more deaths were reported this morning at the hospital. Narendra Solanki, who worked on the sound system, and Dayaram were among the deceased. The gas leak also reportedly affected nearby animals. Several animals, including pigeons, fell unconscious and died.

The nitrogen gas leak occurred when a tanker was emptying its contents at the factory. The leak caused breathing difficulties for several people in the area. Emergency teams responded quicly, and affected individuals were taken to the local government hospital. Authorities evacuated the surrounding area and sealed the factory.

District Collector Dr. Mahendra Khadkavat and SP Shyam Singh visited the hospital late Monday. According to the reports, the tanker contained 27 tons of nitrogen gas, of which 18 tons had already been emptied. The remaining 9 tons were still in the tanker when someone reportedly opened the lid, causing 7 tons of gas to leak. The factory owner, Sunil Singhal, was admitted to the hospital but died from the effects of the gas leak. Authorities have instructed increased vigilance and necessary safety measures to prevent further accidents.
