Jaipur, April 10 Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar has stated that a detailed investigation is underway into cases of individuals allegedly securing appointments in the Panchayati Raj Department using forged documents.

He said that all such employees found guilty will be dismissed from service, and strict legal action will be initiated against them.

He informed that the Special Operations Group is conducting a comprehensive probe into the matter, and further action will be taken soon based on the findings.

Madan Dilawar was addressing ministerial staff at Dharnidhar Garden in Kota on Friday during a felicitation ceremony organised by the Panchayati Raj Department Ministerial Employees Association.

Highlighting administrative reforms, the Minister said that soon after assuming office, he issued instructions to expedite pending promotions across departments. As a result, more than 50,000 promotions have been completed in the Education Department, while the remaining 25,000 are in process.

He added that promotions across all cadres are also being carried out in the Panchayati Raj Department.

He further informed that a Departmental Promotion Committee has recently cleared promotions for 750 ministerial employees, and similar processes are being implemented in other cadres as well. In the Sanskrit Education Department, promotions across all categories have already been completed.

The Minister also announced that a cadre review will be conducted in the Panchayati Raj Department in response to long‑pending employee demands.

“After reaching Jaipur, I will issue necessary directions to officials to ensure that this demand is fulfilled,” he assured.

The event received a warm reception, with members of the ministerial staff association welcoming the Minister with slogans and applause.

He was felicitated with a 51-kilogram floral garland in appreciation of the recent promotion decisions. Employees from various districts across Rajasthan attended the programme.

Kota District Chief Mukesh Meghwal was also present on the dais along with other departmental representatives.
