Gautam Singhania, chairman and managing director of Raymond Group, suffered minor injuries in a speedboat accident in the Maldives and is recovering in Mumbai. According to the reports, the accident occurred early Friday morning near Felidhoo, where a speedboat carrying tourists capsized. Singhania was among seven passengers on board the speedboat and was rescued following the incident. Singhania was among seven people on board the speedboat and was rescued after the incident. The passengers included five men from India and two women from the United Kingdom and Russia, according to media reports.

Two Indian nationals, including India's ace rally driver Hari Singh, are reported missing, and search operations are ongoing. Search operations for Singh and another missing person were suspended late Friday due to darkness, said Shashi Pal Singh Garcha, a longtime friend of Singh. “We still don’t have any news about Hari and another person missing in the incident,” Garcha told The Times of India. “Search operations were called off late Friday evening due to darkness.”

A spokesperson for Singhania said he is recovering in Mumbai. "Gautam Singhania suffered minor injuries following an unfortunate accident. He is recovering under due care in Mumbai." The spokesperson further said, "We thank you for the wishes and pray for the well-being of the affected friends."
