New Delhi, February 17, 2025: A stampede occurred at New Delhi Railway Station on February 15 when confusion over a platform change led to chaos. Thousands of people, headed to the Kumbh Mela for a ritual bath, rushed to the platform when it suddenly changed. The rush resulted in a stampede that claimed the lives of 18 people.

Following the incident, railway police increased security at the station. The railway administration remains on high alert. Amid this, a video of an RPF constable, carrying her newborn baby while performing her duties, went viral on social media.

The constable, identified as Reena, was seen ensuring safety on the platform while also caring for her baby. Despite the circumstances, she maintained her calm and fulfilled her duties as both a police officer and a mother.

The RPF and Delhi Police were on heightened alert on February 16, as officers making extra efforts to prevent further incidents. Constable Reena, who was on duty at the time, was seen guiding passengers and preventing another stampede.

Her commitment to both her professional role and motherhood has earned praise from the public. Social media users have shared her photos and videos, admiring her composure in a stressful situation. Reena’s dedication to her work while caring for her child has been widely acknowledged by citizens.
