Ranchi, Sep 8 In a shocking incident, a 'sadhvi' was allegedly gang-raped by four men at an ashram in Jharkhand's Godda district, police said on Tuesday. Three of the accused have been arrested.

Police said the four accused forcibly entered the ashram late on Monday night in Pathwara village, locked its 'sadhus' in a room and gang-raped the 38-year-old woman. One sadhu was brutally beaten up when he protested.

The victim lodged an FIR on Tuesday, after which police reached the crime scene to investigate. Police launched a manhunt for the fourth accused.

BJP's Lok Sabha MP from Godda, Nishikant Dubey, targeted the Hemant Soren government over law and order in the state.

"Criminal Deepak Rana is involved in the gang rape of a sadhvi at an ashram," Dubey tweeted.
