A department of the Mumbai Cyber Police has registered a new case related to the Salman Khan house firing incident. An accused YouTuber, who discussed the Bishnoi Gang and mentioned plans to kill actor Salman Khan in his videos, was arrested from a village in Rajasthan.

According to a report by news agency ANI, the accused, identified as Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar, was detained in Boarda village, Rajasthan. He will be brought to Mumbai for further investigation, said the Mumbai Crime Branch.

An offence was registered at South Cyber Police Station vide CR No. 66/24 under sections 506(2), 504, 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 66(d) of the Information Technology (IT) Act against an individual who, through a YouTube video on the channel “Are Chhodo Yar,” discussed the Bishnoi Gang and mentioned plans to kill Salman Khan.

Considering the seriousness of the case, a team was dispatched to Rajasthan for investigation. The team has apprehended the accused, Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar, age 25, from Boarda village, Fazalpura, Hindoli, Dist: Bundi, Rajasthan. The team will reach the domestic airport at 2:15 PM today.
