Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh (March 18, 2025): Seven people are missing after a boat capsized in Mata Tila Dam in Shivpuri district on Tuesday.
According to the reports, the boat was carrying 15 passengers returning from Thakur Baba Temple, located on an island in the dam. Devotees had gathered at the temple to offer prayers during Rang Panchami when the boat sank.
Villagers managed to rescue eight people by swimming. Preliminary reports suggest that three women and four children are among those missing. A rescue team is searching for them with the help of divers.
