India is currently dealing with a devastating second Covid-19 wave that has swept through the nation, crushing the country's health infrastructure and overburdening frontline medical workers. The number of coronavirus cases in the country is increasing day by day.

The virus has penetrated into small towns and rural areas which has put burden on the administration to control the spread. Meanwhile, many shocking events are unfolding. 

A shocking incident has taken place where 8 members of the same family died after taking homeopathic medicine. It is learned that five people are hospitalized and their condition is critical.

According to the information received, the incident took place in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. One family member took homeopathic medicines. Eight people have since died. Five people have been admitted to the hospital and are currently undergoing treatment.

The chief medical officer informed ANI about this."They consumed homeopathic medicine Drosera 30, which contains 91% alcohol mixed with country-made liquor. The doctor is absconding," he adds. The incident has caused a stir in the area. Police are investigating the matter further.
