In a shocking incident, a man shot his heavily pregnant wife dead in southeast Delhi’s Nizamuddin on Tuesday morning. The whole incident was captured in a CCTV footage.

The victim identified as Shaina, 29, was killed in front of dozens of onlookers out ide her home. The accused Mohammed Wasim (34) was arrested after he surrendered to the police after killing his wife.

Wasim also injured Shaina's help, Shahadat, who tried to intervene when the accused shot at her. Shahadat is battling for his life in hospital.

According to a report in TOI, Wasim married Shaina last year — it was her fourth marriage. Shain was arrested in a case of drug trafficking. Meanwhile, Wasim started an affair with her sister, Rihana. Shaina got bail two days ago because of her advanced pregnancy.

When Wasim didn’t contact Shaina after she came out of the prison, she threatened him that her third husband, Sharafat Sheikh, a gangster, would teach him a lesson. Armed with two pistols, a livid Wasim came to Shaina’s house and opened fire. Police are probing Rihana’s role in the murder.
