Sirohi, Rajasthan (March 6, 2025): Six members of a family died in a road accident near Kivarli on National Highway 27 in the Abu Road Sadar police station area early Thursday. A woman sustained serious injuries and has been referred to a hospital in Sirohi.

The crash occurred around 3 a.m. when a car traveling from Ahmedabad to Jalore collided with a trailer. Four people died on the spot. Three others suffered critical injuries, and two of them later died during treatment. The deceased included children and women.

Emergency teams used a crane to pull the car from under the trailer. Rescuers had to break the car doors to retrieve the bodies. The operation lasted nearly 40 minutes.

The victims were residents of Jalore district. Authorities have informed the families, and the bodies have been sent to the mortuary.
