A massive fire broke out in a printing and packaging factory in the Rai Industrial Area of Sonipat. Factory number 1329 caught fire. On receiving information about the fire, two dozen fire engines reached the spot. All the employees were evacuated safely from the factory.

After the fire broke out, workers from nearby factories were evacuated as well for safety purposes. Vehicles were called from Sonipat, Rai, and Narela. The firefighters are struggling to control the fire.

A thick cloud of black smoke is seen emitting from the building. A short circuit at the factory turned into a huge fire. Investigation is on and further details are awaited.
