In a shocking incident, a high-speed truck lost control and rammed into two roadside salon shops in the Batiyagarh police station area. The accident, which took place along the footpath, led to extensive damage to the businesses, with goods worth around ₹2 lakh destroyed. Thankfully, no casualties were reported, but the incident has raised concerns over road safety in the area.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck was speeding when it veered off the road, crashing into the two salon shops. The impact caused significant destruction, with furniture, equipment, and merchandise from both shops strewn across the road. The shops, which were operating on the footpath, were unoccupied at the time of the crash, which may have prevented any loss of life or injury to shop owners and customers.

The Batiyagarh police station responded promptly to the incident and registered a case under relevant sections. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the truck's loss of control. Preliminary reports suggest that the driver may have been speeding or lost control due to mechanical failure, but the police are awaiting further details. The local police have assured that they are looking into all aspects of the incident, including the truck’s speed, the condition of the vehicle, and whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Authorities are also considering increasing patrols and installing speed bumps in the area to ensure better control over vehicle speeds.
