At least 12 passengers travelling in a Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) bus were injured after the vehicle overturned inside the Banihal-Qazigund (Navyug) Tunnel. According to the reports, the passenger bus was going to Srinagar from Jammu at the time of the accident.

The dramatic accident was captured on the CCTV cameras installed inside the tunnel. The injured passengers were rushed to the Qazigund Hospital for their treatment. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

The accident took place at around 10:43 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26. Viral CCTV footage shows a speeding SRTC bus travelling inside the Banihal Qazigun Navyug tunnel, hitting the tunnel wall first and then the truck travelling beside it before overturning.
