Supriya Sule: Pawar Ji politely declined Modi's offer

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar had claimed that PM Modi had proposed his party to work together, saying it was PM Modi's 'generosity' but my father 'politely' declined the offer, said Supriya Sule.In Maharashtra, personal relationships have great importance even if there are ideological differences. Supriya Sule further said, 'Pawar ji is not just my father, he is also my boss. And as you know, boss is always right.Significantly, NCP chief Sharad Pawar had claimed in an interview to a Marathi TV channel on Monday that 'Modi offered me to work together. I told them that our personal relations are very good and they will always be there, but it is not possible for me to work together. Sharad Pawar dismissed such reports that the Modi government proposed to make him the President of the country. He said, "But, in the Modi-led cabinet, a proposal was made to make Supriya (Sule) a minister." Supriya Sule is Pawar's daughter and a Lok Sabha member from Baramati in Pune district. Sharad Pawar met Modi last month amidst the ongoing development of government formation in Maharashtra. PM Narendra Modi has praised Pawar on many occasions.
