Gujarat: A man got bitten by snake while removing it from the house, the tragic video of this incident has surfaced on social media leaving everyone shock. As per the footage young man is seen trying to catch snake inside the residential without any protection. While he was carrying it away the snake turned and bit him back. The man, identified as Sachin, tried to remove a snake that had entered a home while several people stood nearby watching. Confidently approaching the reptile, he attempted to grab it and take it outside.

The situation quickly escalated when the snake turned aggressive and repeatedly struck, biting the young man. He released the snake and fled the house, as did the frightened reptile, causing chaos among onlookers. Reports indicate the snake was a rat snake, a non-venomous species common in India. While not poisonous, wildlife experts warn that their bites can cause deep wounds, bacterial infection, swelling, and severe pain if untreated. Rat snakes often enter homes searching for rodents, especially during warmer months or monsoon season, increasing human-wildlife encounters.

A video of risky snake handling went viral on X, sparking criticism about dangerous social media trends. Commenters cautioned against mistaking wildlife videos for expert advice and stressed that only trained rescuers should handle snakes due to potential real-life consequences. Wildlife experts consistently advise the public against attempting to catch snakes, even non-venomous ones, as they may bite defensively.

Authorities recommend contacting local snake rescue teams or forest department helplines when a snake is spotted indoors, while maintaining distance and avoiding sudden movements to prevent accidents.
