Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today in Patna. Earlier, Singh had met the Bihar CM in August this year and had requested him to order a CBI probe into the death case. It was then on the recommendation of the state government, the Supreme Court of India ordered a CBI probe into the death of Sushant last month. During his courtesy visit to the CM, Singh expressed his gratitude to Nitish Kumar for the support as the CBI probe only started when the Bihar government intervened in Sushant's death case which was earlier being handled by the Mumbai police. The meeting lasted for an hour, as per sources.

This also comes after the Bombay High Court reserved the main accused and Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty's bail order on September 29 in the alleged drug case. The two were sent to judicial custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau. They have been placed in judicial custody till October 6. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, under mysterious circumstances. His tragic death case is currently being probed by three investigative agencies namely, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
