Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh) [India], April 2 : A major accident occurred on Wednesday at the Chait Barni Fair in Kushinagar's Khadda area when a swing ride collapsed while in operation, leaving several people injured. The injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals for medical care, and relief and rescue operations are underway.
Speaking to ANI, Khadda MLA Vivekanand Pandey confirmed the incident and said that authorities are ensuring immediate medical attention for all affected individuals.

He added that efforts are being made to provide proper treatment to those whose injuries are minor locally, while those requiring advanced care are being referred to the District Hospital. "Those whose conditions can be treated locally are receiving care right here, while some are being referred to the District Hospital. Officials are making every possible effort to ensure that proper medical treatment is provided," Pandey said.
The MLA also expressed his concern for the well-being of the victims and offered prayers for their speedy recovery. "We pray to God that everyone recovers quickly," he added.
Police and district administration teams rushed to the spot immediately after the accident. Relief and rescue operations are ongoing, and officials are taking all necessary measures to ensure safety and provide timely medical care.
