Tamil Nadu's government school in Pudukottai district has renovated its classrooms like a railway station.

The school's classrooms have been painted like passenger compartments, and the veranda has been painted as train compartments.

A teacher of the school, said that students here come from backward families & don't travel on trains. We drew this so that after coming back to school, students can experience & learn of parts of a train.

Earlier, a government school in Rajasthan's Alwar district had renovated its classrooms like a railway station in 2018.

Schools and colleges in the country were closed since March in view of the coronavirus induced lockdown.
